Revlon ColorStay Buttercup

Hello sunshine! The sun's been up and about lately (cold winds where are you??) so I decided to wear my favorite yellow polish!

Now a good yellow is hard to find. Especially a pale one like this. For months I searched for my perfect yellow until I watched Amarixe's video rave on Buttercup. I knew I had to get it immediately!

Buttercup is a pale creamy pastel yellow. It certainly is the color of butter! Or the yellow in banoffee pie. Yummy, just the way I like it! I really prefer this to egg yolk or lemon yellows (hmm lots of food descriptions there).

I wore Buttercup with the ColorStay Base Coat for three zero-chip days. Without the matching base coat though, it chips within the first day! So that's something to keep in mind. Also, application was not as flawless as I expected, after all this line costs a hundred bucks more than the regular bottles. The polish didn't level completely and there was some bubbling. Hohum.

I think from now on I'll stick to the regular Revlon nail polish line.

Until next time! Stay polished! :)
